When Chrom decides to help kick Walhart’s ass he says something along the lines of “If this turns out to be a mistake, it’s my life on the line. As it should be.” Which, top ten lines that fucking kill me, because through the entire game, Chrom’s story is about how his mistakes get other people killed. Emmeryn dies for him. If he fucks up somewhere it’s his people dying for him. He’s never the one to suffer the consequences of his actions, others are, and it kills him, it kills him, it kills him. If this turns out to be a mistake, it’s my life on the line. As it should be. And what he means is for once, for fucking once, no one will sacrifice themself for me.
