Trucy Wright at the end of DD canonically has knives. Trucy Wright also gets taken hostage by Aura Blackquill (and implied to be killed by her in the bad ending) Trucy could totally stab Aura Blackquill in fact Trucy SHOULD stab Aura Blackquill and here’s why:
- parallels with Simon & Athena; no matter what happens there is always the space center, a child, and the demise of a Blackquill.
- Ema, Athena, Edgeworth, Maya; all people who thought they might have killed someone, sometimes in self-defence, sometimes through possessions, who finally got closure and got the confirmation that no, I am not a killer. And Trucy, whose personal curse is being aware of more than the average aa character, who never even had the hope that oh, maybe it wasn’t me.
- Ema being the first detective on the scene and knowing exactly how Lana must have felt back then.
- It is the curse of the Gramaryes to notice things; the slightest of tells, the most unassuming blink. And Trucy can do nothing but notice. How easily the knife sinks through skin and muscle and flesh. How bright the blood is on her gloves. How Aura’s breath stutters, and wheezes, and pauses.
- The other hostages fret around her. Some are running for their lives. Some are calling her a murderer. Some are thanking her. Some are trying to convince her to hide the evidence. She does not move. She does not respond. The knife clatters on the floor.
- It is the curse of the Gramaryes that they cannot stop Perceiving
