Ok listen to me. Phoenix Wright (as well as Ryuunosuke Naruhodo, it's a family trait) are both wolves. By which I mean they're hunters who track down the truth and snap their jaws on the tiniest inconsistencies to violently shake it, and I also mean that they're fierce in protecting the people they've claimed as theirs. Phoenix ate a whole-ass necklace out of love. Ryuunosuke made an enemy of the entire empire of britain out of love.

MEANWHILE Trucy is technically a fox, but in the same way she chose to be a Wright over a Grammarye, she chose to be a wolf over a fox. So while she's not completely a wolf, she does have wolf mannerisms- namely the same determination to do anything for the sake of her people. Even faking her own kidnapping mid-trial. Even forging evidence. However as I said she's still born a fox and therefore couldn't give a shit about hunting the truth. She's small and cunning, which means she's overlooked yet perceptive, which is all a pretty way to say that Trucy knows shit and conceal shit. It's all very simple really.
