Listen love me some found family but it is really important to me that you understand that Phoenix is NOT Apollo's surrogate dad. Phoenix is Trucy's dad and Apollo is Trucy's brother (or at least fun friend she likes to fuck around with) but that does NOT lead to Phoenix being Apollo's dad. Phoenix is Apollo's weirdo boss who never tells him shit and refuse to spend more than five minutes in the same room with him Apollo has to figure everything out by himself and is in fact often hindered by Phoenix's secrecy. Neither of them actually like each other as more than a coworker (if at all.) To be clear this is the funniest dynamic possible.
