Anyways. You do not need me to tell you why Castoria is into domming. Her life have always sucked hard, being at the bottom of the social ladder and all. Owning a human pet (insert thecybersmith edit) is both a power thing and a prestige thing. It’s her roleplaying as someone important for a bit. Of course she’s into that.
You also do not need me to tell you why Castoria is into violent shit. This girl is a ball of barely restrained rage. Being able to go apeshit on someone, be it with teeth or a paddle, is going to do wonders for her health. She’s tired of being nice she just wants to rip people apart for a bit.
You might, however, need me to tell you why she’s also into subbing. And I will enlighten you. Castoria’s life sucked, but for the most of it it wasn’t because anyone did anything to her. Quite the opposite. The issue is that no one did a thing. No one hit her for behaving badly. They just left her alone in a cold shed to lose her toes in. So I think actually getting physically hurt- again, teeth, paddle, the likes- would be extremely cathartic to her. It’s her being allowed to say yes, this hurts, and it’s expected to hurt, and I can feel pain and feel bad about it openly (as opposed to repressing everything with a smile.)
And above any sort of dom/dub dynamic, Castoria is into competition. Be it fistfighting or chess, any sort of game with the promise of “winner tops/loser bottoms” is going to get her going. First of all because have you fucking seen her she’s competitive as fucking hell. Second of all because if you thrust her into a dom role with no prior prep, she WILL panic herself into an anxious mess and end up more embarrassed than suave- not to say she can’t do it, but she’s gonna need a lot of gentle encouragement before doing anything substantial. If she feels like she earned that right tho she’s gonna be fired up from the get-ho. And finally third of all, she likes fighting back before following orders, because through her life she didn’t get to fight back. She had to go along with whatever was expected of her because the alternative was to die. The one time she went against Tintagel and refused to kill Ector she was sent to fucking jail to starve. It doesn’t matter if that endeavor is doomed. This is her entertaining the fantasy that she got to say no.
Also. Considering Castoria’s wide array of kinks I think she should have a thing for very specific human things that are completely unapplicable to fairy britain. By which I mean this girl is gonna drink SO much period blood. Unfortunately servants don’t have periods and I think she’d rather kill herself than interact with the human staff so Guda’s gonna have to take one for the team on this one. Oberon makes endless fun of the two of them for this, as per usual, so obviously Castoria kisses him with a mouthful of blood to get him to shut up. Tick on tick violence.
