One of the questions brought up by Sabers & and people who have opinions on Sabers is thus: what is the price of inaction?

Forget about the trolley problem. You don’t have to choose jack shit. There is someone perfectly willing to throw herself on the tracks to save five persons. She’s getting ready to jump right now. The only thing you have to do is do nothing.

Can you do that? The easiest thing in the world ? Can you stand back and watch it happen? Can you watch this girl live a life of abject misery, carrying every duty and every blame of the world, and then die forgotten without so much of a thank? Can you stand by and not even try to help her? Can you do nothing? Can you do nothing? Maybe she’s your king, or your friend, or your lover. What is the price of inaction? Are you willing to pay that toll?

None of the knights of the round table could. What of you? Do you know better? Does that make you more, or less virtuous, than those who reached out and burned alongside this star?
