The Papermoon Ordeal Call chapter is a bit special because, through the entire thing, you are not quite playing as "Guda." You are actually playing as one of Guda's Alter Egos, aka a part of them that would normally be repressed or otherwise not shown fully. Mind you this isn't Guda-specific, everyone here is an Alter Ego or another, but what Alter Ego Guda is is never properly answered. Sion theorizes that it could be their pacifism, their desire to stop fighting, or their desire to be just some normal bloke.
Anyways I call bullshit. I did notice that Guda was acting differently through the story, but the thing that jumped out to me is how... vindicative they were. Dude is in a constant state of "no, we are saving these people, we are doing this shit, GOD this place sucks why does everyone die all the time fuck this fuck this fuck this this is unfair." Legitimately they go on a full anarchist manifesto midway through. "This might be Guda's pacifism" they literally fight a god with a monster sword, Sion.
I don't really know what I'd call this Alter Ego, but I think they represent the part of Guda who is painfully aware that shit's fucked around here. The part of them that screams "this is horrible, this is not fine, why did we ever let it get this bad." The part of them that isn't constantly dissociating, essentially.
